Captain Ed Page, U.S. Coast Guard Retired stood up the Marine Exchange of Alaska in April 2001 in his capacity as the Executive Director.  He previously served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 29 years as a commissioned officer in a variety of assignments.  

He is a 1972 graduate of the Coast Guard Academy after which he sailed on the Coast Guard cutter BOUTWELL homeported in Boston and later in Seattle, followed by assignments in Japan, Alaska and California.  In 1994, he was assigned as the Commanding Officer and Group Commander for Marine Safety Office/Group Los Angeles/Long Beach and subsequently in 1997 assigned as Chief of Marine Safety and Environmental Protection for Coast Guard Pacific Area, in Alameda, California.   

Ed lives in Juneau, Alaska with his wife Barbara.
